new york city, center of the universe.

yesterday i went with alyssa to the metropolitan in manhattan. they have a modern art wing now, which i believe is fairly new, and it was absolutely amazing. i saw some picasso, van gogh, warhol and jackson pollock! it was amazing to see some of these works of art in person. i've seen them so many times in books, posters, clothing etc., but it's nothing like seeing them up close. i love that i live so close to a city where everything i could possibly want to do and learn is at my fingertips.

she only just noticed now.

to even look at the contrast.

maybe only searching into the other to make up for the lack.

how many more times will the rain clouds open up in her eyes?

until he vanishes?

she hits the ground hard, falling off of her canopy in the sky

that she’s created from the drugs and the smoke.

they’re a good façade for now,

it’s too cloudy to see how she really feels anyway, and she likes it that way.
